Privacy information
LayoutLift Publishing Platform · implementation disclosure
This page describes the supplied application code. The site operator must publish their own complete privacy policy, contact details, provider list, retention terms and jurisdiction-specific disclosures before production advertising. This is not a consent-management platform or legal approval.
Your publication stays on your device
The included editor opens, edits and exports publications locally. Its IndexedDB storage holds the recovery copy, embedded images, uploaded fonts and editor preferences. Clearing site storage removes that recovery data. Save a .llift copy for a separate backup.
Advertising and choices
The separate sidebar uses PicPlayer’s shared advertising SDK. When enabled at desktop widths, it contacts the configured manager (by default https://ads.picplayer.com) with the public app identifier layoutlift and placement identifiers. It does not send publication names, text, canvas pixels, uploaded images, fonts or account details.
Requests carry the information needed to deliver and measure ads, including the publisher origin, ad-decision tokens and operational events such as confirmed rendering, viewability, clicks and failures. A contacted service necessarily receives network connection information such as an IP address. The browser SDK does not create persistent advertising identifiers, omits browser credentials on manager API requests, and does not attach a referrer to those requests or ad frames.
No advertising consent is granted by default. In that state the supplied manager supports approved contextual text creatives. Third-party tags, hosted provider frames and remote creative images require network-specific consent in the supplied implementation. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track restrict advertising consent in the SDK. No real provider or consent platform is configured by this codebase.
When the operator connects a consent platform, the sidebar and profile menu’s Ad choices command opens that platform. Without it, the command opens this page. It does not silently grant permission or display a simulated consent dialog. Consent changes and withdrawal must be wired to the shared SDK by the operator.
If the manager cannot be reached or has no inventory, the sidebar shows local informational artwork. Ad requests, responses and telemetry are excluded from LayoutLift’s service-worker cache.
Accounts and other network applications
Account sign-in is not included in this LayoutLift release. Log in and Join remain unavailable until real account-provider endpoints are configured. Network links open the destinations supplied in PicPlayer’s navigation configuration in a separate tab; those sites have their own policies.
